Well that took a lot longer than I had thought to write this book. Of course, it is much longer than anything else I've completed - 127,000 was my personal record for a finished book, this one hit 149,000 and will likely creep up a little, and maybe down a bit during editing.
Anyway, as I went, slogging through the long evenings of writing I put together some quotes I liked - some bits of writing I was quite happy with - as a sort of reward to myself, a way of seeing the good amongst all the hours, a motivational tool that said, "Hey, you can do this."
